1. CADR
Clean Air Delivery Rate (CADR) indicates the volume of clean air an air purifier can deliver per hour, measured in m³/h. Separate CADR values may be given for particulate matter and gaseous pollutants.
A higher CADR means the purifier can process more air in a given period and generally provides faster purification. CADR can therefore be understood as a measure of purification speed.
2. CCM
Cumulative Clean Mass (CCM) indicates the total amount of pollution a filter can remove over its useful life. In practical terms, it reflects the service life of the filter element.
A higher CCM means the purifier can remove a greater total mass of pollutants before the filter needs replacement. It can therefore indicate longer filter life and better long-term value.
3. Filtration efficiency
Filtration efficiency reflects how effectively the filter removes airborne particles. Filters may be classified as coarse, medium-efficiency, sub-HEPA, or HEPA filters, and may also be graded from G1 through U17.
