CADR, or clean air delivery rate, is the rate at which an air purifier delivers clean air as determined through rigorous testing by the Association of Home Appliance Manufacturers (AHAM) in the United States. A higher CADR indicates greater purification performance. The value is commonly used to express the purification efficiency of an air purifier.[1]A common unit for CADR is CFM, or cubic feet per minute.
