[Standards News] Revision of QB/T 5365 for Air-Purifier Filters Officially Launched

Experts and representatives from 15 organizations attended the meeting. Participants included the China Household Electric Appliance Research Institute; CHEARI (Beijing) Testing & Certification Co., Ltd.; Guangdong Midea Environmental Appliances Manufacturing Co., Ltd.; Blueair (Shanghai) Trading Co., Ltd.; Shangpin Health Technology Guangdong Co., Ltd.; Shandong Xuesheng Electric Appliance Co., Ltd.; Electrolux (China) Home Appliance Co., Ltd.; Ningbo Tianrui Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd.; Beijing Kelan Fresh Air Technology Co., Ltd.; Cixi Beilian Electric Appliance Co., Ltd.; MANN+HUMMEL Management (Shanghai) Co., Ltd.; Zhejiang Goldensea Hi-Tech Co., Ltd.; and other organizations. Xu Lei of the subcommittee secretariat chaired the meeting.

The meeting established the working group responsible for drafting the industry-standard revision. The secretariat then introduced the origin of the revision project, the work plan, and the background to the standard update. Zhang Weichao, deputy director of the Health Appliance Testing Center at CHEARI (Beijing) Testing & Certification Co., Ltd., presented the main technical changes proposed for the revised standard.

All members of the working group reviewed the draft clause by clause, with a particular focus on the standard's framework and principal technical requirements. The drafting group concluded by discussing the follow-up work plan and milestones for further improving the standard.
